Well howdy all you folks out there! Have you all had a super duper fab-u-lous Christmas? I do hope so and that Santa was good to you all. I mean I'm sure no one was on the norty list were you? I wasn't! In fact in the run up I was EXTRA good. Work every time so I can highly recommend it.

I do find this time of year quite odd though - that time between Christmas and New Year I never know what day it is..... hmm no change there actually ;)) I call this time Chrimbo Limbo!

Well howdy there reader, oops I hope its readers! Well did I have a shock when I crawled out of bed in the dark the other morning. As I peeped bleary eyed through the curtains I was thinking 'why is it so light, its 6.00am and should be dark...' Humph! It was light because it had only flipping snowed! Gah! Anyway my prayers were answered because it rained and went away! Result in my book.

Howdy there folks! I came to a sad realisation this morning..... I went out to my car and it was white all over! It was covered in frost and ice! Yipes!!! Could I find an ice scraper? Of course I couldn't, and because I was being my usual last minute Minnie I didn't have time to find one either. Fingers are not the best method of comfortable ice removal ;))

Hi there peeps! How y'all doing? Well I'm in a good mood today/tonight (depending on your time-zone) as we've had beautiful sunshine the last couple of days. Brrr!!! Oh my where did winter suddenly come from? Heck we had frost this morning! All rimey white stuff on my car, luckily it went real quick. Eventually the sun peeped out and it was warmish... Bonjour mes amis! I've gone a little bit Francais - well I've just been on holiday to France! I LURVE France. I mean I love America too but the flight.... the traipsing around hauling cases and and luggage, the vile food on the planes, the kid behind you who kicks your seat all the way there.... Ooh its only anohter two weeks till Strictlys back! Oh and Dancing with the Stars on 'Watch' I shall be glued to the box - obviously it will need to be strong glue! Well howdy there! Stop press! We've had a bit of summer! How good is that? Oh and pretty amazing and very very welcome indeedy. I've got my fingers crossed it continues. Well after the garage acrobatics last week my bruises are some lovely shades. They've faded from Dusty Concord and Barn Door to Milled Lavender, hints of Mustard Seed and Bundled sage. I thought describing them that way would give you a clue don't worry I won't frighten you with pictures!

Well howdy there! Have you been having fun in the sun? I have! Well some of it, a fair bit of time has been spent in the kitchen.... lovely in the heat I can tell you. But the sun has been a welcome visitor, I've been kept rather busy replenishing the water in the bird baths. No sooner have I put fresh in and there's a bird, or several in it. So if you have wild birdie visitors remember to give them a drink. They've even been sunbathing! I couldn't believe it the first time I saw one laid on the grass, I thought it had fallen foul of one of my kitties.

Yo howdy there folks! Well we had summer today... yes I know that's a bizarre statement, but what else do you expect from me? ;)) Today the weather was beeeootiful! Sunny, hot and well summery. The forecast for the weekend is a different kettle of fish! Cold and rainy.... again! Still at least when we were looking at all your summertime entries we felt hot hot hot! In fact I had to don my shades...

Challenge 88 - summertime...

Yoohoo! Summertime and the livin' is eaaaasyyyyy, summertime.... summertime??? Huh where has it gone? My part of the world appears to have been transported into some weird monsoon world. Well without the heat but when it rains its exceedingly wet rain. You know the sort that seems to be extra big drops that make you wet in about 2 seconds. Oh and can you guess who found out today that her jacket isn't shower proof?.... Oh that'll be me then! It felt lovely I could have been walking around wrapped in a wet towel! Oh I'd laughed at my friend in her husbands coat..... then she pointed out that that coat was waterproof. Oh well I guess I need a new one.

Well howdy there folks - I hope I find you all well and looking forward to having a nice weekend. I've got my fingers crossed as we 'seem' to have a nice weather forecast! Hooray! There's actually some sunshine heading our way, so the forecasters tell us. Now whether that happens is a different matter all together - I'm hoping so as I need to attend to my garden. Why do weeds grow twice as fast as things I want to grow? Oh and regrow when you think you've dug them up! Still I hope you all have a happy weekend too.

Howdy there folks. Have you had a good week? A very busy one here - no change there then. ore news on the weather front.... I think we've gone into the monsoon season! Well if the sound of the rain hammering onto the conservatory roof is anything to go by. One of the kitties wanted to go out.... at the third time of trying he finally went for it.... ran 3 yards to get under the car! Silly boy, he'll no doubt be in soon soaking wet. Howdy there peeps! Are you being subject to peculiar weather too? I know I moan about the weather but.... sun, rain, cloud, wind, more cold, more cloud, torrential downpour! Its just so flipping weird. I mean we aren't too far away from the longest day! Isn't supposed to be just a teeny weeny bit sunny? Oh and the cherry on the cake was when it was announced that some parts are officially in a drought! Howdy there peeps - oh my this weather! I'm thinking I've got the answer to it though. This came to me the other day.... I left the house in a t-shirt, I came back freezing cold and had to run down the drive as the heavens burst! It suddenly came to me that its April! So if that's the case I have good news because we go on holiday in May! Which is fantastic news.... however looking at the paper it clearly says it isn't. I've got my fingers crossed though that the weather perks up a bit soon. I've got some lovely new shorts I'd like to wear! And on that scary thought I'll stop ;))

Brrr!!!!!

Well that's how I feel, I mean where I was last week was a delicious 60 degrees warmer! I mean we've got the heating on and I'm wearing socks. I have a lovely tan but you'd need x-ray eyes to see it under all my layers ;)) I do hope that nice weather we had a few weeks ago wasn't summer, heck if it was that means we're in autumn already! My weekend will mainly be spent sleeping.... having just 'endured' a long haul flight sleep will feature quite a bit! Well I hope so anyway.
