Well hello there my little blogging flowers! Oh the humour! It'll come to you eventually... honest it will. Well as you're reading this I'm on a quick break to Vegas! Wow I hear you say how lucky is she eh? I mean Vegas for a short break! OK I'll 'fess up its Skeg-Vegas! Off for a weekend to Skegness with some pals. Doesn't quite have the same ring to it does really? Vegas or Skegness.... hmmm..... well I've been to both and I enjoyed them both! Vegas proper does tend to be warmer though! Oh and just in case you think that all of a sudden I've gone techy and clever and have scheduled this... think again Bloggettes! My friend Gorjussette Gez is very kindly posting! Thanks honey ;))

Thanks to those of you who came to play last week. The RPT has picked Nicky as the lucky winner of the Joanna Sheen voucher for £10 of treats. Now I promised to fill you in on my flower 'joke' this week we want to see flowers on your card! We're also sponsored by the fabby Wild Orchid Crafts. Cop a load of the prize they've given! Its L U S H!!! I asked if I could resign this week and enter myself... For reasons of decency I'll not give the answer that I got.... I think it meant 'no you may not'....;))

Challenge 46 - its a sketch

Yo there peeps! How y'all doing? Well we have a bit of an Indian Summer thing going on here at the moment. Its lovely! Mind you I'd have liked a proper summer as well.... but hey this is better than all that rain and stuff. I hope its nice in whichever corner of the world you're in. Hmm how can you have a 'corner' in the world? I mean its round isn't it? And if its round it doesn't have corners.... Oh thanks for all your good wishes for my Harry. She's a lot better now thanks very much.

So thanks to last weeks players. Looks like a lot of you are getting ahead on your Christmas cards! I am too, well a bit and much more than usual. Most of mine are last minute and the glue just about dry before they hit the envelopes ;)) So I got the Random Picky Thing going and he picked Franca Email me your details and I'll get the prize off to you, please include the challenge number in the title line.

So this week is our Joanna Sheen week which means we have a nice easy sketch, well I drew it and I only can do easy! This weeks lucky winner will a £10 spend in Joannas super shop! Heck there's even free post and packing so its a full £10 of crafty wonderment for you. Oh and there are some absolutely fantastic things in there. I'm boring you all now aren't I? So....

Challenge 45 - Christmas in August

Howdy there peeps! Well what a week its been! What with fairly appalling weather, manically busy and then my baby girl Harry being hospital all week! Well I've not known if I was coming or going. The coming and going being the 120 mile round trips to the vets mainly. Yes folks that's right 1 2 0 miles! Why I can hear some of you say, well with Harry being a parrot and regular vets know nothing about them. Only the best for my girl.. Hence the trip. She's back home now and is getting better.

So thanks to all you stars who came to play last week - gee I'm so funny! Humorous and not odd.... well not too odd ;)) Just a bit odd.... but hey what's a bit of oddness between friends? Anyway I cranked up the Random Picky Thing and he picked Kerstin. Email me your details please include the challenge number in the detail and I'll sort your prize out.

So what's this weeks challenge I hear you cry.... louder I can't hear you! Well the weather here has turned decidedly chilly and they reckon snow is due in September! Have we moved into the Arctic Circle or what?? So I thought we'd better start thinking of Christmas. Now I sell a fair few cards and they're done and dusted mostly. However most of the ones I send are VERY last minute the glue is only just dry on them. I know that will be a surprise to everyone.... OK perhaps not to those who know me ;))

Anyway enough of my rambling... unless you want more? I can do a few thousand words easy... OK enough. This week we're sponsored by a lovely stamp company called Cupids Clear Stamps. Now these are really really nice, they are just ace! So the lucky winner will receive a set of stamps.

So here's the inspiration from the Gorjussettes.

So inspired? Because I think these are just GERT LUSH ME BABBER!!! Now you may think I'm nuts.... but I was introduced to that saying earlier in the year by a retreat pal ;)) I think its a wonderful saying, makes me smile when I say it.

OK I know I'm rambling. Entry via Mr Linky please, link to your actual entry and not your whole blog. New work only and nothing back dated, please be fair to those who play properly ;))

Challenge 44 - Star!

Howdy peeps!

Oh wow I think summer has well and truly disappeared! The last couple of mornings have had a ~gulps~ autumnal feel to them! I mean come on its August its SUPPOSED TO BE SUMMER!!! Shouldn't it be hot? Or are those just the summers of my childhood? We have had some awful rain and high winds too.... just the snow to come in September them.... which the forecasters say might well happen! Cripes best dig those sweaters out then. Oh and the snowshoes too. I can't wait.... Oh hang on I can wait! Keep the snow.

So huge thanks to all our aqua players from last week. You are so clever! I'd love to give you all a prize, I would but there's just the one lucky winner. So who is it? Its Silvie! If you email me your details and include the challenge number I'll get your prize sorted.

So onto this weeks challenge 'STAR' which is sponsored by Crafters Companion The lucky winner will receive a £10 voucher to spend in the on-line shop. Fab huh? Trust me there are some must haves ;)) So what do we want? Well its easy (I only do easy remember) We want to see a star on your card - see I said it was easy ;)) So that can be on the papers, embellies, image or anywhere. Gorgussette Paola has made a super star shaped party treat.

So ready to be inspired?

Challenge 43 - Aqua

Howdy there peeperoos! Oh my I think summer is definitely over! The weather here is just.... well .... awful sums it up perfectly I reckon. This morning had a hint of autumn in the air! I mean come on please a bit more summer!

I'm guessing lots of you lucky folks are on your holidays - I hope you've got some lovely sun. I fired up the RPT and he picked Hazel as last weeks winner of the Joanna Sheen voucher.

So this week our theme is fairly topical..... its AQUA! hehehe! At the moment its throwing it down with rain I love the irony of it.... aqua of course is water! So aqua it is. Now this can either be aqua coloured or you can have some aqua, water on your submissions. New work only please though. This week we kindly sponsored by the lovely Lili of the Valley They have got the most B E A U T I F U L stamps! They are so lovely and colour wonderfully! Oh there's a new release of stamps too ;))

As usual the Gorjussettes have some inspiration to share with you.

Challenge 42 - sketch

Wow challenge 42 already! My where does the time go to? I wish I knew I'd try and sneak some back! I mean how can it be August already for goodness sakes?? You certainly wouldn't think it was judging on the weather. Today has been quite chilly. I wondered at people out and about in their coats. Once I'd gone outside myself I wished I had mine! Oh and it rained on St Swithins Day too....its been fairly constant since too. The only thing I can say about that is that now our grass is green instead of brown. On the minus side its growing and needs mowing!

Anyway enough of my moaning ;)) I'll have you asleep before you know it. That would be no good you'd miss the fabby cards the Gorjussettes have made for you. Thanks to all who played last week, some beautiful babies out there. The lucky winner picked by the RPT is Janice who entered by email. Send me your details please.

So this week is a sketch as its the beginning of the month and it also means we're sponsored by the lovely Joanna Sheen. The lucky winner will receive a £10 voucher for spends in Joanna's shop. I mean whats not to love? As they say you have to be in it to win it.

So here's the sketch

Challenge 41 - Baby baby!

Hiya!

Well what a miserable lot of weather! I guess there must be some truth in what they say when it rains on St Swithins day then eh? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE come back summer - I miss you! ;)) I mean summer is supposed to be... well summery isn't it? I mean having to go in long trousers isn't on! Its July!

Oh thanks for all your good wishes about my Harry, she's now back home and my purse is much much lighter! Just as pay back she's now Bitey Britches formally known as her Ladyship Harry! So what with her and her Highness Princess Nippy Knickers yours truly is well under attack!

Still looking at all your lovely entries last week cheered me up no end! Gosh you are clever. I really love to see how you interpret the themes I choose. Its really lovely to see what you come up with. Thanks very much for sharing them with us, I know the Gorjussettes enjoy looking too.

So who is the lucky winner of that beautiful ribbon from Fantastic Ribbon Well the RPT was a bit rusty (all the rain you know) but he eventually got going and picked Uma Email me your details and I'll get it off to you.

So this week we'd like to see Baby as your theme. Now this can be a birth card, baby's first birthday, christening anything for a baby! Once more the Gorjussettes have come up trumps - these girls are so clever! This week we're sponsored by Meyer Imports a spot of glittery stuff never goes amiss does it?

Oh and a big big thanks to Debs, this is her last week with us. Your cards have been fantastic Debs - its been a pleasure to work with you.

Challenge 40 - Congratulations!

Howdy there peeps!

What a mixture we've had this week! Sun rain, wind, snow.... only kidding about the snow. But its the only weather we haven't had I think. I hope its been better with you.

I've had a rotten evening - I've had to take my lovely Harry to the vet! Poor baby had had to stay in hospital too - can you send her some love?

So a big thank you to everyone who came to play last week - you are a talented bunch! More lovely ideas, thank you. So I kicked the RPT into action and he dig a little jig and picked DK Crafts If you email your details I can sort you out that super prize from Crafters Companion. Psst! I got some of their Iridescent Glitter spray - on wow its super sparkly. Love it on Crimbly cards ;)) er it also looks nice on my hands too... I suppose you aren't supposed to spray it on yourself are you? Oh well....

Right onto this weeks challenge. I think Congratulations are the order of the day! So we'd like to see a congratulations card. Now this could be for a wedding, engagement, passing a driving test or anything like that. Or simply because someone has done something which they deserve congratulations for. This week we're sponsored by Fantastic Ribbons which is very appropriately named! A place for fantastic ribbon! So some of their lush ribboness will be coming the winners way ;))

As always the Gorjussettes have come up trumps.
