Challenge 61 - for someone special

Hiya peeps!

Lalalalalalalalalala! I'm singing to take my mind off the fact that its Christmas next week! Yipes who knew that it was round the corner! I mean no one told me that its so soon, as usual not a thing here is ready.... which I'm sure surprises you all not one iota ;)) Still in my defence I have been busy helping other people prepare for their Christmases! So I think my usual preparations of say... two days will have to suffice. I mean I suppose I should actually write some cards and then post them ~sighs~ well there's always tomorrow isn't there? Oh and lets hope we don't get this stinking snow they've threatened us with!!! All the ice is bad enough, my car doors and boot were frozen solid this morning. I thought I was going to have crowbar them open.

Right many thanks to you all who came to play last week, the random picky think fair groaned at all the names. But he behaved and he picked Tasha - email me your details and I'll sort you out those sparkles!

Right onto this weeks challenge. Well seeing at its Christmas soon - are you sure its really next week?? We'd like to see something for someone special. Now this can be anyone who is special to you. This week the winner will receive a beautiful pack of 'Me and my big ideas' paper. Its lush and it will be dry by the time you get it... I only licked it a bit.... I cut my tongue on the paper...

Now this challenge will run until 2011! Well actually the 8th January to be precise. I'm being kind and giving the Gorjussettes time off for good behaviour. Something called ... er... it'll come to me.... lalalalalala Oh yes Christmas!

Anyway enough from me here the inspiration from the fantastic Gorjussettes;

So FAB-U-LOUS huh? Please call at the Gorjussettes blogs and leave them a little lurve ;)) I know they'd love it. Share your special creations with us - there's a prize remember.

So please let me wish you all a super Christmas and a wonderful New Year. Many thanks to you all who come and play with us every week - without you we wouldn't be here!

Oh as always new creations only, no back dating folks! Please link to your entry and not your whole blog.

Challenge 60 - Snow!

Hi there peeps! I hope you're all fine and snow free this week? We've got a few dribs and drabs left, well apart from the mountain that got dug off the drive! I think that little baby will take a bit of shifting ;)) I seriously need you all to hope we don't get any more though! I have a BIG surprise planned for my OM for next week - snow will seriously ruin it ;(( So no snow for here please Mr Weatherman ;)) Oh and fingers crossed this stinker of a cold goes too, I mean three weeks for a cold? How can that be fair? I look as if I'm getting into the Christmas spirit by doing a fair impression of Rudolph, well in the red nose part anyway. Don't worry I'm not growing antlers.

So thanks as always to our players from last week. I'm always surprised how everyone interprets the sketches differently. So the lucky winner as picked by the RPT is Fairy Email me your details with the challenge number in the title line and I'll get your prize sorted for you. I know a couple of peeps are waiting on stuff from em - I'm sorry but my list is getting way out of order ~blushes~ I'll sort it out soon.

Right what would we like to see this week? Well snow of course! But only on your entries! NO SNOW ANYWHERE ELSE! This week we're kindly sponsored by Meyer Imports, their German glass glitter is just amazing! Its so sparkly you need shades on!

So here's the snowy inspiration from the Gorjussettes;

So there you are - inspired by all that lovely snow? Oh that's the best place for it in my opinion. On a card!

So please enter via Mr Linky and link to your entry and not your blog. New stuff only please and no backdating.

Challenge 59 - sketch

Howdy doody Gorjusseroos! Oh my but its cold! We have so much snow here, that's me Net by the way, my car is firmly stuck on the drive. I think the three feet of snow behind it and the couple of feet covering it may have something to do with it! We have so much of it, personally I was fed up of it five minutes after the first flake fell! So now I want it all to go away!

A bit of Harry news for you - thank you so much for your good wishes. She is much better, not 100% yet but certainly stacks better than last week. I think she just wants her Momma grey haired and bankrupt!

So a couple of bits of news for you. This week we have a special guest designer none other than the wonderfully talented Rach Jakes who has turned my easy peasy little sketch into something fantastic. Then we have a new Guest Gorjussette. I'd like to thank all of you who applied. You are all so clever and talented - thank you thank you for wanting to join us. Sadly I wasn't able to pick you all. Our first Guest Gorjussette wanted to come and play straight away - so please welcome Karina!

So thanks to those who played last week - I didn't know you could use trees in so many ways! The RPT has done his stuff, once I'd brushed the snow off, and he's picked Kimmi Email me with the challenge number in the title and I'll sort your prize.

Right this week then - its a sketch. Its mine so obviously its easy ;)) Once again we're sponsored by the fabulous Joanna Sheen The lucky winner will receive a £10 voucher for her online shop. Now Joanna has some truly tempting things in there! Plus her delivery is super duper quick. I've even had an order come the next day! I mean how good is that? Very good that's how. So I bet you're almost asleep now....

BOO!!!

That got your attention then!

So the sketch...
The inspiration....

So fab huh? Oh and that's despite Mr Blogger playing silly beggars! I mean why would I pick the order for my photos for him to randomly arrange them as he thinks fit in duplicate??? huh?

Anyway there they are.

So remember there's £10 of crafting goodies coming your way if you win and you have to be in it to win it as they say!

Please enter via Mr Linky, link to your entry and not your whole blog. New work only and NO back dating thanks. Word verification? Do you really need it? It makes commenting very difficult.... please turn it off.

So what are you waiting for?
