Its for you Mum! Challenge 19

Well howdy!

Hands up if you're fed up of the rain and snow? Oh almost everyone then! Please please please let there be a bit of summer this year!

Now a great big whopping mahoosive thank you to everyone who came to play last week! How fabulous! Personally I managed to pinch loads of ideas as I went round your blogs.... er I mean I've got tons of inspiration! ;))

So who's the lucky winner of that fabby voucher from Crafters Companion? Well when I chucked all those names into the Random Picky Thing he almost bust a gut! There was black smoke and all kinds of peculiar noises! After a bit of a wait he eventually picked Nikki! Email me your details sweetie and thanks for playing.

So onto this weeks sponsor - its a sparkly selection of super stash from Meyer Imports I'll try my best to get a photo in daylight. You all know my photography skills in daylight!

So what would we like to see this week? Well we'd like something for your Mum, now I know not everyone is lucky enough to have a Mum to make for (myself included) so something for any ones Mum or that your Mum would have liked. We're flexible as always ;))

So the Design Team gals have crafted up a storm as usual.

So aren't they just super? Aren't they purty?

Remember that fab prize too!

Hi there! Crikey its cold AND we keep getting some of that awful white stuff! So I reckon that means we should all stay in and play with our craft stash! Does anyone else think that's a good idea? I think lots of you did this week as we had lots of you come to play! Thanks so much, it was lovely going round your blogs seeing your lovely creations. Its super that you share your lovely things with us.

So I dug out the random picky thing out and cranked him up, well once I'd put all the number in he huffed and puffed and threw a bit of a wobbly! I was having none of that and gave him a squirt of oil.... he came up with Moongoddess Email me your details and I'll send you those brads.

Paper piecing - 15

Morning! Now I know this might seem a strange time to be doing this.... believe me in my world its exceptionally normal! I'm a night owl of the first order. Just don't mention mornings to me, that's the ones where it involves getting up early.... ~shudders~

Well enough of my ramblings, unless you want me to carry on? I could probably give you a couple of hours? You sure?....really?

Oh OK then.

Well first of all a MAHOOSIVE thank you to all who played last week - the DT girls and me are thrilled you all came to join us. So anyway the Random Picky Thing almost bust a gasket when I threw all the details in, he did his best and whined and gurgled and he picked Caro Well done! If you email me your details I can send you your prize.

This week we're sponsored by the lovely Tracy at Dies to Die For - (I'll take a pic tomorrow in the light) Tracy has everything you need and also all the things you didn't know you needed but had to have. It all comes super quick and you always get a little present too. How fab is that craft goodies which of course are vital supplies in my book AND a present. I mean can that be bad? Go and check you'll see what I mean. I've done it again... rambled....

So this is the prize.....

Some super Flutterby Sentiments from Craftwork Cards and a Greeting Farm stamp! Fab huh?

Well this weeks challenge (hope you're awake still) I asked the girls to do some paper piecing! Now there's a couple of ways you can do this. One way is where you create a scene or design from different papers which you piece together or stamp your image and then again on patterned paper and cut the different bits out and piece them onto your image. Confused? Check out the DT blogs they'll explain it much better than me!

So wow aren't they just super-duper?

So we'd love to see your paper piecing creations too! Its a really good way of using up all those small pieces of paper we, ok me, saves for ages!

Dimension!

Hello I hope you aren't sinking under all the rain! I think its better than the snow though, but only just.

So a big thank you to everyone who came to play last week. I really enjoyed having a pop round your blogs to see what you'd made. I think its fab how everyone interprets the challenge.

So onto the winner, RPT has been fired up and he's picked Lilypuss If you email me your address I'll pop your prize in the post.

So the challenge I gave the girls this week was for some dimension on your work. Now this can be however you want to add some to your work. Once again we have a prize donated by Die Cut Dreams

As always the girls cards are just fab!

So without further ado....

So there you go - super huh?

So we'd like to see how you add dimension to your work. Enter via Mr Linky with a link to your entry please or email to totallygorjuss@gmail.com

All in one! Challenge 13

Its thawing! Did you hear me? Its thawing! At last the snow is going - hooray!!! Do you think I'm pleased? Just need the 5" of solid ice on our road to thaw too.

So enough of the weather you say ;)) Thank you to everyone who entered last week. There were some GORJUSS cards to look at. So I cranked up the Random Picky Thing and he picked Sandra! I loved that image you used.

So onto this weeks challenge. Our DT teamie Sarah came up the the theme of monotone - as in one colour of your choice. See how kind I am I let you choose your own colour!

This week we're sponsored by Jill from The Hobby House (A super shop which has everything you could wish for and then some!) Now if I was one of these clever sorts I'd take a photo of them and make them look even more lovely..... however I'm not! Trust me they are lush! So much so I had to buy some for myself. The good thing about them (apart from them being lush) is that they are clear so you can colour them to match your work. A quick lick of a Copic or a Sharpie and your're away.

Right enough waffle... here's what the DT have made.

So there you go! Aren't they fab? I think it really shows just what you can do with shades of one colour.

So remember we've those super brads up for grabs.
