Challenge 61 - for someone special

Hiya peeps!

Lalalalalalalalalala! I'm singing to take my mind off the fact that its Christmas next week! Yipes who knew that it was round the corner! I mean no one told me that its so soon, as usual not a thing here is ready.... which I'm sure surprises you all not one iota ;)) Still in my defence I have been busy helping other people prepare for their Christmases! So I think my usual preparations of say... two days will have to suffice. I mean I suppose I should actually write some cards and then post them ~sighs~ well there's always tomorrow isn't there? Oh and lets hope we don't get this stinking snow they've threatened us with!!! All the ice is bad enough, my car doors and boot were frozen solid this morning. I thought I was going to have crowbar them open.

Right onto this weeks challenge. Well seeing at its Christmas soon - are you sure its really next week?? We'd like to see something for someone special. Now this can be anyone who is special to you. Challenge 60 - Snow!

Hi there peeps! I hope you're all fine and snow free this week? We've got a few dribs and drabs left, well apart from the mountain that got dug off the drive! I think that little baby will take a bit of shifting ;)) I seriously need you all to hope we don't get any more though! I have a BIG surprise planned for my OM for next week - snow will seriously ruin it ;(( So no snow for here please Mr Weatherman ;)) Oh and fingers crossed this stinker of a cold goes too, I mean three weeks for a cold? How can that be fair? I look as if I'm getting into the Christmas spirit by doing a fair impression of Rudolph, well in the red nose part anyway. Don't worry I'm not growing antlers.

Challenge 59 - sketch

Howdy doody Gorjusseroos! Oh my but its cold! We have so much snow here, that's me Net by the way, my car is firmly stuck on the drive. I think the three feet of snow behind it and the couple of feet covering it may have something to do with it! We have so much of it, personally I was fed up of it five minutes after the first flake fell! So now I want it all to go away!

A bit of Harry news for you - thank you so much for your good wishes. She is much better, not 100% yet but certainly stacks better than last week. I think she just wants her Momma grey haired and bankrupt!

So a couple of bits of news for you. This week we have a special guest designer none other than the wonderfully talented Rach Jakes who has turned my easy peasy little sketch into something fantastic. Hiya Gorjusseroos - oh no as I type this the snow is falling! Yipes I really really really don't want any of it! Not one teeny tiny flake, no Sirree Bob (who is Sirree Bob by the way?) You see me and himself both have rear wheel drive cars... they hate snow too! Good planning not! And I've still got a poorly little Harry and I hope we don't have to rush to the vets tomorrow.... So we'd appreciate a few prayers and loving wishes for her please.

Challenge 57 - not so traditional

Hiya Gorjusseroos!

I hope I find you all well and not too cheesed off with the weather. I really hope none of you are affected by the horrid floods some parts of the country are having. We've got it foggy, cold and wet in my part of the world. However I do have to say I seem to be getting a bit of tan despite the distinct lack of sunlight. How so I can hear you ask.... well its being behind all these cars with their fog lights on! I mean when its really foggy yes. But when its not, well its easy SWITCH THEM OFF!!! Its stupid and incredibly awful for cars behind you. There were loads with them on on the motorway tonight. I mean visibility was down to about a mile and the traffic was almost bumper to bumper.....

Right rant over!

Challenge 56 - traditional Christmas colours

Howdy there peeps! I hope you've all got your hatches battened down! My word has it been windy or what! That's right its been W I N D Y!!! We live quite high up and its certainly been rather breezy to say the least. In fact I did think of putting some laundry out to dry.... except I don't think I had enough pegs to keep it on the line! Plus the torrential showers did put me off somewhat ;)) And its been cold too. We've had our first hard frost too... and the dark nights.... yak! Roll on summer I say.

Well thanks to all of you who came and played with my little sketch last week. Challenge 55 - sketch

Howdy there all you Gorjuss people out there in Blogland. I do hope none of you got too spooked last week? Well I went and bought spooky little sweets and such like for our little Halloween visitors...... I've still got every single one of them! Why I hear you cry? (I can't hear you....) Ahh that's better you were much louder that time! Well I got mixed up (I'm blonde remember) and was out so I left said sweeties and Himself in charge.... Well he had the football on so loud he never heard the bell! So anyone for a spider sweet? Jelly worm? Chocolate eyeball? Witches finger? No?? You sure? I wonder if they'll keep till next year.....

So thanks to all who played last week. Now I'm sure you all want to know the lucky winner of those beautiful flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts Well I wrote my name out 50 times and threw them in the random picky thing.... He threw them straight back at me with a message! It said 'CHEAT!!!' Challenge 54 - Ooo spooky!

Oh wow readers what a day! Now how spooky is this eh? Just as I'm about to do the challenge t'internet broke! Yup the whole of t'internet for the North of England - yipes! How on earth did I do that? now 'onest it weren't me what broke it.... well I think it wasn't me anyway.... in fact I'm sure it wasn't.... ~whistles~ Anyway i was out all day so I've only been able to do the challenge now, I've got my fingers crossed it doesn't break again. And believe me typing with your fingers crossed is pretty difficult. I'm getting more spelling mistakes than usual ;))
